Seeking help on IE

The problem has bugged me for quite a few months now. Whenever I browse the net and click the hyperlink, the window can not automatically bring out the new linked pages (window) as it suppose to be and had been before. But I have to click the STOP, and then click REFRESH button in order to bring out the new pages. Do any experts out there have any ideas what is going on here? Any sugguestion to fix the problem! Ahy feedback is greatly appreciated!
