160G的硬盘变成了130G，为什么？

偶昨天才买的新机器，主板是Asus,硬盘是 麦拓的160G,在BIOS里面显示为160G,我拿WINXP从光盘启动，分区，可是只识别出130个G的内容，这是咋回事呀？有无人能否告诉俺？
