问个很小儿科的问题，可我真的很急，要考试了。麻烦哪位好心人帮

虽然一直在用计算机，可从来没有系统认真的学过。
问题：
How many files are in the root directory of your Data Disk?(Don't count folders)
我应该怎么计算file的数量呢？Status manu上显示的是包括folder的数量，如果我减去这些folder，可这些folder里面也有好多file,到底要不要计算它们呢？是不是有另外的办法可以看到file的数量？麻烦大家了，我知道这个问题太初级，可真的不知道该怎么办才好了。谢谢谢谢
