I installed XP 1st then 2K but

any more. When I select to boot from XP, the PC shows it's trying to load 2000 but as soon as it starts I'm told something is wrong with my 2000 installation even though it's not supposed to be 2000 but rather XP. I guess when 2000 was installed later than XP, it messed up XP since 2000 can't fully accommodate the newer OS.
