Wireless Network Help Needed!!

We have recently installed a wireless network to our computer and laptop with a wireless broadband router and a wireless card. It worked fine at first, but after a few days, the laptop (with the network adapter card) Internet stopped working. Then a few days later, it would start working again on its own. This happened a couple of times, but now the laptop Internet has stopped working for about a month and will not start up again. The Wireless Network Connection Status says that it is connected though. It also says under Activity, that packets are being sent, but 0 are being received. We tried repairing it by clicking on the automatic repair button, but that does not work. It just says that the IP address cannot be renewed.

Any comments or suggestions??? Thank you!
