Asus P4P800 + P4 2.4GB(800MHz) + Brand Name Dual channel DDR400 RAM(Paired) can be OCed to 3.2G.

Cheap Motherboard + celeron + Generic RAM: no way to over clock.

The memory is a key player in OC. In addition the mobo must support OC. Right now OC is a luxury feature of the Mobo. So cheapy mobo, such as ECS, may not have that feature.

P4(800) and AMD XP 2500+ series can be overclocked very well. No celeron or duron please!
