tO trace this error down, try two, things,
if your not afraid to look at your registry:
go to HKey_Local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD ; look through each listing looking for staticvxd-check for garbled and
missing entries in the static key field- this should help you trace the program. Or it may
be the next area:

Second: you may open explore, use tools,
find and type *.cpl, open each file, and
if one does not open, that will be your
problem program.

This is usually one of the two areas to
trace down your problem.
