try it at first. if they still fail to work. i prefer to re-install the os, then i get a clean system, and with higher performence as well, right?
re-installation on top of an old exist system will not always destroy your data or partition. it depends on your windows release. an update version will give you choice to keep your old stuff. but don't do an installation WITHOUT backup of important data, NEVER EVER! otherwise, you may come here again and cry.... how to get my data back from an overwritten disk... 555~~~
