Amazon selling

I opened an account on amazon to sell some old books. I created the books in my inventory. However, they are showing as inactive. Also, when I go to the search results (for the books), I don't see my items listed for sale.  But I got emails from Amazon telling me my selling items were created and they will  notify me if someone clicked to buy my item.

Does anybody know what's wrong?  What do I do so my books will show in search results?  Thanks!
