1. Order a free sim card from lycamobile.com
2. On the plastic card, you can find the PUK code which is required for registration
3. Inser SIM card in your mobile phone (tried locked T-Mobile phone, not working. Unlocked is OK).
4. Dial 622 on the phone to activate SIM or you can activiate the SIM through its web site;
5. Your new phone number will be sent to your phone through a text message;
6. Use the phone number and PUK code for web based account registration;
7. Username/password will be sent to phone through text message;
8. Charge your account with $10(this is the minimum, the other post stated that any amount will do with "other", it doesn't work any more)
9. Sent text messages to other mobile phone and google voice, no problem. Vice versa also works (from other devices/google voice to lycamobile phone, correct incoming phone numbers were shown).
10. Check the charge history, it is 2c per min voice, 4c per text message.
11. On my phone, there is an "R"(indicating roaming) on the bars, but there is no roaming charge. Did some research on the web, some phones show "T-Mobile", some "Lycamobile", some "R" like mine, all without roaming charge.
