I check this key as you mentioned in your post(the following):

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

the key in my computer is:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
without Run, in the right pane, there is:
Name type data
default REG_SZ (value not set)

is that correct?
I know nothing about the registry.
