hdic2 from verizon is locked, which is different from sim lock. by default, it does not accept cmcc's sim card. you can change that by adding a line in config file to disable cmcc sim lock. however, you need to root the phone first. there are vendors in china can do it for you for 200 yuan, or you can do it youself for free.
