请教大拿们：买网络modem时要求与IPS提供的modem一样吗？

以前IPS没有收他们提供的modem租金，可近几个月每月收5刀。后来打电话问原因，告诉我不交租金也可以，自己买个modem，然后退还他们的即可。

有啥比较好的modem可推荐？
