IPKall sends calls to your IP address by either SIP or IAX2 which means that you need to open some ports for SIP connection and voice traffic (RTP ports) to go through. SipGate is using sip registration means your ata need to register SG service which is a different story on port issues. I personally don't like IPKall because its CID problem.
