PBX in a Flash is indeed pretty easy to use. Yes, you will need to learn how to configure Asterisk by using FreePBX. This is a great setup though. Hosted VPS is very nice because I don't need to run a server at home year round. I only have an Asus RT-N16 with Tomato USB as my router, file share, media (LDNA),OpenVPN server.
