逮住高手就得多问几句, 请教"牛"兄:

I have an APC BE450G, which comes with the power management software "PowerChute". I tried PowerChute first, but uninstalled it subsequently because the software has a major problem for me, that it cuts off the UPS power a couple of minutes after the computer goes hibernation. I need the UPS on to power other devices such as a cordless phone. The trouble is, now I cannot use the native UPS service on the computer (XP), which is also provided by APC, I believe. On the UPS configuration menu (property->screen saver->power->UPS), it shows "the UPS service is currently stopped". I have forced a driver reinstallation by uninstalling it, and spent some time with APC tech service. So far I have no luck to make the native UPS driver work. Any suggestions? Appreciated.
