Boost Mobile Data Plan

Friends,

Can anyone tell me how to use the data plan of Boost Mobile? I actually only need to use it 5 days a month. Is this possible? It is pay as you go. Right? So I only need to pay 0.5 * 5 = $2.5 if I only use 5 days a month.
