I have a wireless router and two computers connect to it with wireless adaptor.The router use DCHP to assign ip address to the computers.The IP address range is from 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.199. Now I have problem. one computer is fine but the other can't connect with the router. I checked the IP address of the computer.The address is 128.164.0.255.It's not in the IP range of my router. I try to use "ipconfig /release and renew" to get the new IP. But it can not release the old IP. When I use the "ipconfig" the message display the autoconfiguration IP is 128.164.0.255 and mask is255.255.0.0 and the gateway is empty.I have set the DCHP in the TCP/IP in the windowsXP.
Anyone know why and how to fix it.
