when i was with 2.2, typically available memory was around 100mb; after killing tasks, i would get about 200mb.  now it dropped to 70-170 respectively.  last week when power outage occurred in SD, on a train back home, i and a guy sitting next to me searched the news concurrently, he got the news result while i was still searching; his was not upgraded but mine was.

the biggest bomber to me is that i lost rooting/tether, i was told gingerbread patched it up, ouch...
