what I need to play this game on my pc

Hi, I know nothing about games.

I have a windows 7 pc. I borrowed a DVD (Disney Princess Enchanted Journey)
from library. It said Microsoft windows xp  ... But I am able to install it
on my Windows 7 pc. But it does not run.

It also said 128 MB DirectX 9 compatible 32 bit color 3D Accelerated video
card supporting hardware Pixel shaders. What do i need to buy? a new video
card? what kind? Where can I buy it?
