Most of the discussions are bogus

It was old old habit to get the battery out to charge. For recent 8 years, none of the 10s cell phone allows you to do that! There is no other charger, period!

Maybe it is only true for Chinese cell phone maker, but all the cell phones bought in the states has battery lasting for years without any special charging habit.
