a new method, hope it works

In the first cell, type: "=sheet1!A1"

in the cell below, type number "1"

highlight these two cells,

paste up to all the rows you want in the same column(has to be even number)

then select the whole column

Go to Edit>GoTo>Special>Constants>OK

Go to Edit>Delete>OK

Hope it works
