问个car alarm的问题，有谁换过车remote key?

我的车那个remote，以前很远就能打开车门，现在对着车窗都时灵时不灵，更恼人的是，锁住了打不开时，不能用钥匙开，否则就引发警报，发动机就会被锁，无法发动。我想在ebay上根据FCC ID number 买一个remote, 但是担心即使有programm instruction 也无法program. 因为我这个车的alarm 是第二个主人装的，不一定是toyoto dealer装的，我也不知道牌子。请问：那个program instruction 到底需不需要启动车里的装置，比方说当初安装alarm时的安装的某个按钮？ebay上卖remote的人要在driver side 的dashing board下面找黑色按钮，有的说要google search 一下 instruction, 我除了现在remote上的 FCC ID number 外,任何关于这个alarm的信息都不知道，怎么搜索？是不是按着那个remote instruction就足够了？请懂行的，或者换过的人指教。
