啥是HTPC：那就是个PC

To my understanding, a HTPC is still a PC, you can do whatever a PC can do, and you can't do what a PC normally can't do. A set-top box is a scaled version PC, but with many dedicated function.

从使用经历上讲，Google TV set box 应该在他的功能范围里比HTPC好很多。但是，你不能够写Word。

HTPC要达到Google TV set box也是可以的，但要加上很多程序，插件，反而麻烦。

If you only want to watch net TV, don't get Google TV set box as it may not support the P2P sites you want! For example, I like pplive, but I hate youtube; Google TV set box gives you excellent experience on youtube, but can't run pplive ... so what do you want?
