I dont' think it is related to NAT nor firewall. I think you need to check on the registrtion time. it depends on providers, you might need to adjust the registration time. by default, it should be 3600 which is an hour. you might want to change it to 120 or 60 to make sure your ata is sending out greetings to the server in much shorter intervals. email me at [e-mail] if you still have problems.
