Okay, your router is working so your laptop is connected wirelessly to your router. you need to make sure your router is setup correctly so the internet is connected on your router. if you use dsl, you need to make sure you are using pppoe as the connection type and input your login and password to register your dsl service on your router. in some cases, you might need to make sure that your dsl modem is set to bridged mode to register the service to your router instead of resitering the service on your dsl modem.

another possiblility is that you might need to setup dns servers on your own depending on your provider.
