Such things happen every minutes in ebay. Be careful checking the credit of a seller that you want to place an aution or order. It is not easy to get your money back via Paypal since there are hundres steps before you can get your money back, they need to find out what was going on and be equal to both parties.

Hold payment via credit card company if it has not been paied then deal with Paypal and the seller could be a more practical solution.
