This card is known having compatibility issues with abg routers. Also, the power management is very aggressive. Try the following steps,

1. In the configuration, do NOT allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. Under the "Advanced" tab, select Power Management, set to use the "highest".

2. If you have a a/b/g router, disable N mode on the card.
