Please Help, wired network throughput speed degrade

I have a wired network using Linksys WRT600N router. The throughput speed degrades from 20mb to 1mb couple times everyday. Every time I have to powercycle modem and router, the speed will be ok after reboot, then goes down after a while. I downloaded the new firmware, the problem still exists. I am using Vista. Anybody has any idea what the problem is? Thanks in advance
