your previous post already answered your ques.
what I use is to create a smaller OS partition (>=12GB), which basically saves OS or OS with antivirus, it won't include any daily changed data. All others saved in another partition. Keep OS backup so it can be recovered, and data (it can include Office) won't be affected.
I use 雨林木风 backup disk for whole partition backup, thus I don't want a large OS partition.
