求教：cannot copy from IE then paste to word file

现象：

无法把internet explorer 中的内容copy到microsoft word 文件中去。一paste就跳出一窗口说“prepare installing...”，然后就停在那里。

copy 到Notepad就没有问题。现在只好先paste 到Notepad，再从Notepad重新copy一次，再paste到word file 中去。

请高人指点，如何修复。谢谢。
