Please help with virtual machine

I use ppstream for watch online movie. But it always have large amount of suspicious uploading activities even after the program is shut down (checked ctrl-del-alt to make sure). So I download VMware and use virtual machine to run ppstream.

My question is - does anyone knows how to allocate more CPU for the virtual machine? Currently my virtual machine has only 0.2GHZ of CPU usage (out of 2.8GHZ), which is way too slow to run ppstream.
