Help with PC purchase in China

My parents in Beijing are planning on buying a first-ever-in-life desktop for themselves, just basic email-checking, surfing internet or some other basic functions, but they do need high speed and bigger storage space.

Since they don't have clue about PC, neither am I, is there any model ( 联想 or Dell) that would meet their needs and wouldn't cost too much?
