我想买一台手提电脑给小孩。请问因如何考虑？

现在想到的有几点：

1. 明年上大学，所以今年就要买， 对吧？让小孩有一年的时间适用一下。 Not necessary. The computer for sure will be better or cheaper next year.

2. 因为要在大学校园里拿来拿去， 所以小一点轻一点为好， 对吧？ Right. But light also means smaller screen and big bucks.

3. Wireless， USB, video Cam，显卡 最重要， 是吧？ Yes and no. Wireless: every laptop has it. So does USB. Vedio Cam? Depends. It is good for remote class. But it is more used for video chat.

4. 显卡一定要高级的。因为学生喜欢打游戏。Are you sending your kid to college? I will prefer a so-so video card so that s/he can not play too much games during school year.

5. 电池性能一定要好。不能1～2小时就要充电。True. Smaller screen helps. A good video card will do the opposite.

6. 要有docking 接口， 这样回家接上键盘，LCD就能当Desktop用。 否则分开买二部电脑很麻烦的。 Not true. You don't need docking to connect keyboard. USB is good.

还有什么要注意的呢？ Get your cash ready!
