Gizmo phone call quality not good, how to optimize?

I have a GV # and gizmo, whenever somebody call me GV direct me to my gizmo on my computer. but talk quality is not good. How to optimize?

Sombody said: Use only the G711 codec.

I am not an expert, can anybody explain?
