Help! How to connect two

computer using crossover cable? I tried to connect my laptop and my desktop, one is using Windows XP, and the other is Windows 2000. I've set the two computers in the same workgroup, and after plug in the crossover cable, I can see one from the other, vice versa. But when I tried to access it, a window poped up asking for usename and password. What usename and password should I use? I never set any password for my computers. Can any XDJM give me some suggestions on how to set up the connection? Thank you so much!
