How do you know "the total sum size of all files is only 33GB"? Did you do a Ctrl+a in C: and right mouse->properties? If you do this way, there should be two sizes, file size and size on disk, these two sizes could be very different depends on the type of files you put on there. If both show close to 33GB, then there are hidden files (pagefile, etc.) and/or fragmented files and/or virus/warm. Turn on hidden file in view see if you find any large ones. I would first do a disk clean - remove temp files etc., and then run a disk de-fragment, if these two step don't get you back most of the "lost" space, you need to check for virus, also check harddrive for any bad sectors, though if it is reporting 80+GB used, the harddrive should be ok.
