My old computer is too slow,I am going to get a new one instead

Can my internet work if I just simplly connect with my home DSL line?

Or if I recovery my old computer system,can the internet is still going to work?

My DSL has a router for making and receiving the phone calls while I use internet.My DSL service is Vorizon.
