no way linux desktop becomes popular this way

If you are PC person, Windows is everywhere. If you are UNIX person, Mac OS X is pretty and pure UNIX. What more? SUN OS is free for non-commercial use. Why bother with linux, when you already have an OS installed?

Linux is for those having too much time and so little money. Or for those with special needs.
