请教高手---cannot telnet to the router

我刚装了一个ASUS 520gu的router, 工作一切正常.
装完以后我能 ping 192.168.1.1, 但是我怎么也不能telnet 192.168.1.1, 为什么? 错误提示是 : cannot make a connection to port 23....

我试过这些办法, 但是都不行:

1. disable firewall in winxp.
2. manually turn on port 23.
3. ssh (use port 22).

请问我应该怎么才可以telent 192.168.1.1

另外, 我能telnet/ssh到一个远程的服务器(一个朋友的).

P.S. 我需要telnet 我的router, 主要是要传一个文件上去.
