SATA 2 Hard Drive

Dear Listers:

I bought a new computer with Asrock Wolfdale 1333-D667 Motherboard(Intel Chipset) and 320GB SATA2 Hard Drive. I have tried to install Windows XP SP2 and failed. I guess the the new type of Hard Drive is the criminal and would like to get a new Hard Drive which is compatible to Windows XP. Could you tell me what kind of Hard Drive I should buy which is good to my motherboard to install Windows XP?
