1. The router has its own firewall, so you need to config your router first. Read the documentation that come with the router, you should be able to open a browser on a pc that is connected to your router, and enter a special URL with special port number to access the router's configration page.
2. There is something called DMZ zone (De-militarize Zone), which is outside of your router's firewall, but still protected. On the router's configuration page, there should be an option to put one pc (you can only put one pc in DMZ zone) in the DMZ zone.
3. I am not so sure about how the dynamic IP address works, but I am using cable modem, and they told me I get dynamic IP address, but for the past year, I always get the same IP. So, you use the IP address to get access to your pc at home. I am using VNC, which is free and very nice.
