unlock pantech c120 phone

hi!
does anyone know how to unlock the pantech c120 cell phone? I wonder where to find those unlocking softwares? and how does those software convert the IMIE number to an unlocking code, is it by some algorithm or through a database where each IMIE number corresponds to an unlocking code?
