After reinstalling windows XP,screen is too blur and I cannot ch

After reinstalling windows XP, the screen becomes too blur. My eyes hurt when I look at the screen. I also cannot choose screen refresh rate. And adapter information can not be identified by windows Xp. Do I need to install anything else besides windows XP. I appreciate your help!
