关于家庭网络,我家的网络怎么连最快?

现有的东西,
1个COMCAST CABLE MODEM, 4M SPEED
一个D-LINK 802.11B ROUTER WITH 5 PORTS,
一个10/100M SWTICH, 5 PORTS
一台SERVER WITH WIN 2003 SERVER,
一台LAPTOP WIRELESS CONNECTION,WITH VISTA
一台DESKTOP,XP.
怎样连最快,而且不分上网的BANDWIDTH ?
目前的想法是这样的,
INTERNET---->SWITCH------->ROUTER-------->DESKTOP
-------->LAPTOP
------->SERVER
有啥建议么?
