that it suits for my need. I don't need to care how VMWare works, I only care its performance. Obviously, VMWare didn't impress me with its performance. Yes, the applications I'm going to run are very speed and memory demanding. Some simulations can last for weeks to finish, and/or require over 2GB memory. I don't think that most of the "google engineers" have that sort of demand to maneuver their database.
