系统格式化, 重装问题请教

I am trying to re-format my hard drive, and re-implement Windows XP pro.

I have been doing it many times before.
But now I couldn’t anymore after getting some virus.
That’s why I want to do it again.

I don’t know if it’s the reason of switching to LCD monitor or not, and I don’t have CRT monitor anymore:

When I restart (or shut down and start), there is no F2 or F4 warning in the very beginning
for me to choose in order to set boot sequence(to CD ROM), format hard drive, and install XP.
I can’t even restart to save mode.

Now, whenever something shown up on the monitor, it’s already XP.
In other word, I have no chance to format.

Please help me, thanks.
