救命啊，装不了XP了 Help: very slow to copy file while insta

My son crashed the XP by killing the "System" process in task manager. Now I
have big trouble in re-installing the XP. Everytime when it goes to the "
Copy file from CD to hard disk", it becomes very very slow, move several
percent ahead, then stop for 10 around minutes. It seems will never finish.

Does this indicate any hardware problem? CPU? HDD? Or CD-ROM drive? Please
help me with your experience.
