I mean, not many people are following the good practices, but you are! :P

用外接硬盘上的开关断电 is not different from shut off internal HDs using the PC switch/push button.

So, worry not. Fire at the HD manufactures if your HDs die within the warranty periods. Of course, back up the most important regularly.
