It's very easy to understand:

I wrote a lot of program to read and write data to a specific folder in drive D:. But now the drive d: is going to be full, and I do not want to recode all my program to change the folder address, therefore I want to have some other folder (or path) in my vast empty drive E: to be virtually nested under the original folder in drive D:. Because I have a way to make just one change to let all my programs to auto read datd into a lower subdiretory.
